Painting Live with Golden
I am a soft pastel artist and PanPastel instructor based in the Portland, Oregon area, and after eight years with this medium I am still as in love with it as the day I picked it up. I teach inside my monthly membership, the Pastel Insider, and this April I have something a little different and very exciting to share.
On Tuesday, April 28th at 2pm ET, I’ve been invited to host a two-hour live painting event on the Golden Artist Colors platform. I’ll be painting live with you, guiding you through my process in real time and talking through not just what I’m doing, but why.
We’ll explore application, blending, and color mixing using just five PanPastel colors and Sofft Tools, and you’ll leave with a clearer understanding of how to approach your next painting.
Whether you’re just getting curious about this medium or you’ve been working with PanPastel for a while, this is a chance to paint together in real time.
Here’s a look at what we’ll be working with
There are two ways to join depending on what you need.
The live event is $25, or you can choose the kit and event together for $59. The kit includes five PanPastel colors, my favorite Sofft oval wand that I use in all my paintings, and a Sofft oval slice.
Please note the kit does not include pastel paper. For the best experience, I recommend UART 600 dark sanded paper in 9x12. This surface makes a big difference when working with PanPastel. You can find it at Merri Artist(code DAWNVS for 10% off), Amazon, or Blick.
A recording of the event will be available for all registrants for 60 days.
Registration closes April 19th.
Please note this event is open to US and Canada attendees only.
I cannot wait to paint with you.
If this event sparks something and you want to keep exploring PanPastel beyond April 28th, I would love to have you inside the Pastel Insider. It is a monthly membership with over 80 guided lessons, new content every month, and a community of artists from all over the world. You can learn more and join us at the link below.
