My Spring Show is Here
I have been doing these shows since 2021 and every single time I learn something new about why I make art in the first place.
It is not really about the sale. It never has been. It is about that moment when a piece finds the person it was always meant for. Someone you have never met, somewhere in the world, connecting with something you made in a quiet room by yourself. They may not have all the words for why it speaks to them. But as the artist I know exactly what went into it and there is something so deeply human about that unspoken thread between us.
In the beginning I did not realize how deeply I was connected to the artwork I create. When I would do these shows I would cry and I did not fully understand why. Over time it became clear. I was releasing each piece out into the world and what that painting did was connect me to someone I had never met, on a deeper level, through the unspoken energy it carries. To be seen in a way that has no words. That is the whole point.
Stephanie Gagos has created something really special with these shows. A place where art connects with people from all over the world in a way that feels genuine and alive.
This spring I have a solo day on April 7th. I am bringing 23 pieces, including six special wood mounted reproductions hand embellished with gold and beautifully sealed with a luxurious wax finish, ready to hang.
How it works
If you have never been to an online art show before, it is a lot more relaxed than it sounds. Each piece goes into an album with all the details and a starting bid. To bid you simply leave your amount in the comments. The highest bid when the piece closes wins. Some pieces also have a buy it now option.
My solo day is April 7th but the show runs through April 14th. If you miss the live bidding, pieces that are still available can be purchased at the starting bid price through the end of the show. There is still time.
You do not have to bid on anything to show up and matter. Come in, look around, and leave a comment on the pieces that move you. That kind of support means more than I can say. A lot of people do exactly that the first time. And then they come back next time ready to bid.
