My Creative Journey
For Dawn Vander Stoep, art has been a lifelong passion spanning over two decades. Throughout this journey, she has explored various mediums, but the discovery of PanPastel over six years ago fulfilled her creative spirit. Now, she is thrilled to share the sense of belonging and empowerment she finds in art with others.
As a soft pastel instructor offering online self-paced PanPastel classes, Dawn's goal is to demystify the art of soft pastel and reveal its true magic. Her artwork, cherished by collectors worldwide, is a testament to her dedication as a full-time artist working from her home studio in Milwaukie, Oregon.
Dawn's artistic expression beautifully captures our interconnectivity and spiritual energy guided by joy. She brings diverse influences to her work with a background in Graphic Design, Digital Scrapbooking, Rubber Stamping, Altered Journaling, and Mixed Media.
Beyond her art, Dawn cherishes her loving marriage of over 25 years to her supportive husband, Cameron. Together, they raised their two teenage boys. Dawn's furry studio buddy, Sunny, keeps her company during her creative process.
